Using Capcut (AI), Premier Pro & Davinci Resolve I want to make use whilst learning more about the best approaches to editing!
Capcut was easy to use, build in AI transformed the transitions and some effects and great for creating slideshows from photo stills. Next Capcut edit I do will be using the video footage i also shot. Extended it for 2 mins instead. Archive footage from the drone shot in previous years will be included in this edit to have a look at the quality and see if it will fit in the new images. Next week I will use Davinci Resolve and start adding audio this should make things interesting, Need to start recording my own audio and sounds and create a folder for edits. Just purchased a camera bag as most of my shoots will be outdoors in the Autumn and the weather is getting wild and wintery. : ) As Director of Photography I need to showcase all elements of landscapes so getting out in the rain will be a must for this shooot. Don’t forget to record these sounds, capture small details add some macro to these shoots. I will leave Premier Pro editing software to create something with After Effects, need to think of some ideas as Motion Graphics are not really my thing but something small could be just as effective. using 3D must be on list to learn more about if I am to get better at becoming an editor. What editor doesn’t know Motion Graphics, Hmmmmm. Bummer.
